Mary Dunworth

Dunworth, Mary Jane - Age 96, of Grand Blanc, died at her home on September 15, 2020. Private services with Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Mary was born January 4, 1924 in Constantine, MI, the daughter of Harry and Freda (Thorne) Brown. She married Leonard Leroy Dunworth August 12, 1945 in Constantine, MI. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2015. Mary Jane worked as a dental assistant in Kalamazoo in the 1940's. She was a member of Our Risen Lord Lutheran Church. Mary Jane also volunteered for 40 years at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. She was very supportive of her children with music and with the Grand Blanc Band Boosters. Mary Jane is survived by her children, Jane Ann Cannizzaro of Linden, Dr. David Dunworth of Farmington, NM.; 2 grandchildren, Amanda Jane Dixon, Jeffery D. Driggett; 3 great-grandchildren, Ethan, Tristan, and Isabella; sister, Anna Johansen of Marcellus, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Freda Baumgartner; brother, Harry J.
