DRLIK, Mary Ida  Age 83, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, July 3, 2003 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral mass will be held 11 AM Monday, July 7, 2003 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Amos Wischmeyer celebrant. Interment will be held at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Saturday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A rosary will be prayed 6:30 Sunday evening at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Mrs. Drlik was born February 10, 1920 in Mt. Pleasant, the daughter of John and Julia (Archacki) Shustock. She married Jaroslav Emil Drlik on November 9, 1946 in Flint and he preceded her in death on August 24, 1998. She had resided in Swartz Creek since 1950. Mrs. Drlik was employed at AC Spark Plug for seven years. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are: daughter, Julie A. Scheitler of Vernon; son-in-law, Dallas Koontz of Flushing; six grandchildren, Kelly Wildey, Greg, Andrew and Shawn Scheitler, Troy and Anna Koontz; 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Stella and husband, Robert Schafer, Virginia Tylus, all of Flint; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: daughter, Emily Koontz; three sisters, Anna Thomas, Nellie Raymonde, Julie Walker; brother, Eugene Shustock.
