DONNELLY, Mary Lavern - Age 90, of Flint, died Tuesday, December 6, 2016. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11AM Friday, December 9, 2016 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek, MI. Father Louis Ekka celebrant. Burial to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 6PM-8PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Family will receive friends 10AM until time of mass at the church on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Mary was born June 10, 1926, the daughter of the late Lonnie E. and Delphia (Maddox) McDonald. Mary married John P. Donnelly in Flint on June 17, 1944 and he preceded her in death on March 15, 1998. Mrs. Donnelly enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are: daughter Martha Donnelly of Flushing; son, John Donnelly of Flushing; granddaughters, Melissa (Russell) Anthony of Grand Rapids, Jennifer (Rob) Naismith of Lapeer; great grandchildren; Rebekah Anthony, Alec and Anastasia Anthony, Brody and Gavin Naismith. She was also preceded in death by daughters Mary Canterbury and Barbara Donnelly.
