Mary Alice DENT

DENT, Mary Alice, age 57, of Holly, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 at her residence. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, G-3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint, Msgr Richard Groshek, celebrant. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday, with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, and 10:30 a.m. until time of mass at the church. Mary was born December 1, 1952 in Flint, the daughter of the late Francis and Bonita (Keenan) Seirmarco. She married Robert "Bob" Dent on April 12, 1975. Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren, fishing with her husband Bob, reading and crocheting. Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Bob; daughter, Jennifer (Donald Jr.) Durbin of Flint; son Brian Dent of Wixom; grandchildren, Amber Durbin and Brandon Dent; sisters Marsha (Gene) Chavlier of Burton, Michelle (Mark) Benner of Royal Oak, Marilynn (Anthony) St. James of Auburn Hills; niece April Benner and nephew Jeffery St. James.
