COONEY, Mary Ann  Age 61, of Linden, died Friday, February 4, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, February 7, 2005 at the Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad St., Linden, Pastors Parker Smith and Donald Neuville officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Linden. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Saturday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to the Linden Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Cooney was born November 24, 1943 in Mt. Clemens, MI, the daughter of Joseph and Dicksie (Clement) McCarthy. She was married to Larry A. Cooney on May 23, 1970 in Linden; and had resided in Linden for 34 years coming from Howell. She had been employed by Eaton Corporation for 9 years, and then TRW for 18 years. She was a member and elder at the Linden Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Relay for Life Team for the American Cancer Society. Surviving are: husband Larry; 3 children, Bill Cooney of Missouri, Kimberly and husband Rick Hartlege of Kentucky, Laurie and husband Chad Perigo of Swartz Creek; 9 grandchildren, Heather, Krystle, Cody, Larry, Christopher, Michelle, Nicole, Alexandria, and Maclin Mary; mother, Dicksie McCarthy of Howell; 5 sisters; 3 brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
