Mary Chapman

CHAPMAN, Mary Etta -Age 83, of Fenton, died July 12, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, July 17, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Jay Coldwell will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday and 11 AM until the time of service Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet of Fenton. Mary was born October 30, 1931 in Hale, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Weaver) Bills. She was married to Allan Chapman on June 13, 1953; he preceded her in death on January 30, 2011. Mary worked at Guns Galore for 25 years and was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Linden. She enjoyed trips to Ludington and Pentwater and spending time at her sister-in-law, Charlotte's cabin. She is survived by her children, Theresa (Eric) Mularski and Michael Chapman; grandchildren, Leslie (Ron) Trimue, Jordan (Christa) Follo and Kendyl Johnson; step-grandchildren, Andrew, Kyle, and Kirstyn; great-grandchildren, Kendall and Preston; sister, Alice; sister-in-law, Charlotte.
