Mary Suzanne CANEVER

CANEVER, Mary Suzanne "Miss Mary" to her KC's kids, Age 55, of Fenton, died Monday, November 8, 2010 at home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, November 12, 2010 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton, with Fr. David Harvey celebrating. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd, Fenton Thursday from 5-8 PM and at church Friday from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. A vigil service will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 7:30 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the Mary Suzanne Canever Memorial Fund, to be given to charity. Mary was born November 14, 1954 in Detroit, the daughter of Dr. Julian and Nancy (Masnick) Guidot. She was a 1972 graduate of Detroit Benedictine High School and a 1975 graduate of Michigan State University as a Medical Technologist. Mary lived in Fenton for over 30 years where she raised her family and operated her business KC's Creative Learning Center. Mary was a member of Spring Meadows Country Club, St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and ASPCA-Animal Cruelity Prevention. Surviving are: 4 children, Sara S. and husband Matthew McCormick of Wolverine Lake, Anne C. and husband Michael Agnone of Fenton, Jeffrey M. and wife Elizabeth Canever of Fenton and Laura E. Canever and Jamie Metcalfe of Fenton; 6 beloved "pet grandchildren", Nala, Luna, Stoney, Lenny, Lulu and Baby; 8 brothers and sisters, Theresa Spiro of Bloomfield Hills, Dolores Guidot of Pinckney, Dr. Carolyn Guidot of White Lake, Cathy Demirjian of Hinsdale, IL, Joanne Schrader of Mason, OH, Mark Guidot of Charleston, SC, Dr. David Guidot of Atlanta, GA and John Guidot of The Woodlands, TX; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
