BRUNSDEN-PRAIN, Mary E. (Collison) - Age 74, of Macomb, formerly of Fenton, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, August 16, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment will follow in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, where a Rosary Service will be held at 7 PM. Visitation will also be held 10 AM until the time of Mass Friday at the church.
Mary was born September 5, 1944 in Flint, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Armstrong) Collison. She was a graduate of Holy Redeemer High School of Flint. Mary then earned her Associate Degree and was a bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church of Shelby Twp., and past member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church of Fenton. Mary enjoyed shopping, cruising, and traveling, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: sons, Robert (Susan) Brunsden, Tim (Jackie) Brunsden; step-son, Timothy (Lisa) Prain; grandchildren, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Alexis, Benjamin; siblings, Thomas (Bobbette) Collison, Kathy Hawes, Susan Matison; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, James Prain; daughter, Holly Brunsden; and sister, Shirley Morgan. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
