BALUTOWICZ, Mary Elizabeth - Age 90, of Fenton, died Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Crestmont HealthCare Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, July 5, 2010 at the chapel of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, with Fr. David Harvey celebrating. Burial in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Saturday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM and at church Monday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430. Mary was born August 9, 1919 in Wilkes Barre, PA, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Balla) Toth. She married Stanley Balutowicz in 1942 in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death January 16, 1979. Surviving are: son, Raymond and wife Pamela Balutowicz of Fenton; daughter, Barbara and husband Dr. John Dawson of Clovis, CA; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Irene Brigner of Sterling Heights and Silvia Toth of St. Joseph; brother, Charles and wife Marlene Toth of Bridgman; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son Stanley Balutowicz. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff at Crestmont HealthCare Center and Select Care.
