ALONZO, Mary C.V. - Age 85, of Flint, died Monday, February 15, 2016. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, February 19, at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 W. Coldwater Rd, Flint. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Wednesday and 10-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Mary was born February 20, 1930 in McAllen, Texas, the daughter of Carlos and Maria (Romero) Vasquez. Mary was a member of Eagles #629, a devoted catholic and member of Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed bowling, shuffleboard, walking and camping. Surviving are her four children: Gene Vasquez of San Diego, CA, Chale Colunga of San Antonio, TX, Maggie Reyna of Victoria, TX, Frances Ortiz of Flint; two special daughters, Lydia Ramirez and Cristina Joly; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Joe Vasquez; sister, Rosie Hauser; her sweetheart, Frank Molina. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alfredo Alonzo; sons, Frank and Eddie; daughter, Lisa; sister, Ruby; brothers, Carlos and Manuel.
