SNYDER, Marvin H. - Age 88, of Lake Fenton, died Saturday, January 6, 2018. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor David Boillat officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contribution to the Salvation Army. Marvin was born November 9, 1929 in Agency, IA, the son of Leslie and Mabel (Birkinbine) Snyder. He served in the National Guard. He married Carolyn Jean Heston September 21, 1953 in Preston, MN. He owned and operated Lenawee Hills Memorial Parks in Adrian and Tecumceh. Marvin enjoyed playing golf and bowling. Surviving are: his wife of 64 years, Carolyn; children, Dennis Snyder of Adrian, Kristine Snyder of Flint, and Lisa Snyder of Fenton; his beloved grandchildren, Olivia Snyder, Kross Park, and Shane Snyder; sister, Louise Jirsa of Cliva, IA; sister-in-law, Mary Moffet of Blakesburg, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
