PUFFPAFF, Martin H. " Marty", age 61, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at home. Funeral services will be 1PM Friday, September 4, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Gerry Fox officiating. Visitation will be 6-8PM Wednesday; 1-4 and 6-8PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Linden Kiwanis or the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Marty was born January 22, 1948 in Detroit the son of the late Harold and Aileen (Krueger) Puffpaff. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving as a SeaBee. Marty married Suzanne Johnson September 6, 1986 in Swartz Creek. He was employed for many years in environmental services. Marty enjoyed golfing, fishing, deer hunting and card games. He was a avid bowler who was had bowled two 300 games which gained him notoriety in Bowling Hall of Fame in St. Louis. He was a huge University of Michigan fan and enjoyed the rivalries it encouraged. More than anything, Marty enjoyed having a good time, and a good laugh. He loved his family, enjoyed spending time with his brothers, nieces and nephews and was a wonderful husband. His sense of humor and positive attitude will be missed. Surviving are his wife Suzanne of Linden; two brothers, John (Faith) Puffpaff of Weberville, Charles (Casandra) Puffpaff of Lansing; nieces and nephews, Charlotte, Matthew, Maria, Annika, Brett, Emily, Mitchell, Hayden; father and mother-in-law, James and Mary Lou Johnson; and many special friends.
