MILLS, Martin Charles Henry - age 96 of Holly, passed away May 29, 2019. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor Denise Russell officiating. Visitation will be 3-6PM Tuesday; and 10 AM until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Martin was born January 1, 1923 in Highland Park, the son of Harold and Martha (Stevens) Mills. He married June S. Wharff in Ferndale on March 20, 1947. Martin proudly served in the US Air Corp during WWII. He was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church, UAW Local 60, Fenton Masonic Lodge 109, and Shriners Bay City Consistory. He enjoyed working with stained glass, golfing, and swimming. Surviving are: daughters, Anita (Michael) Ellis and Donna (Jim) Heddins; grandchildren, Brandon, Clifton, Andrew, and Nathan Ellis, Sam Bartholomew and Sadie Ingle; great grandchildren, Aybelline, Annabelle, Adaline, Edison, Conner, Gabby, Lucas, Noah, and Ella; niece, Kenna Gibson; nephew, Don Wharff.
