Martin -Marty- W. Carpenter

CARPENTER, Martin W. (Marty) - Age 33, of Grand Blanc, died January 17, 2006. Martin was born in Flint on July 6, 1973, a son of Wesley Snider and Marion Carpenter and had lived in the Flint area all his lifetime. He was a graduate of the Grand Blanc High School and later attended Mott Community College. Marty enjoyed working with his computer, playing computer games and spending time with family. He is survived by: his mother, Marion Carpenter of Grand Blanc; 3 brothers, Alfred of Mt. Morris, Mark of Flint and Mitch of Mt. Morris. Also surviving are: aunts, Ann Morris, Sharne Scott; and uncle, Richard Etheridge, Jr.; along with several nieces, nephews; and half sisters and brothers. He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather, Richard Etheridge, Sr., grandmother, Annie Lee Etheridge and a brother, Matthew. The family will conduct a memorial tribute to Marty 11AM Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd.
