Martha Jeanne Maddox

Maddox, Martha Jeanne, "Marty", age 60, of Grand Blanc, passed away Friday, February 26, 2010 at home. A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Genesys Hospice Care. Marty was born September 25, 1949 in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania the daughter of John and Jeanne (Ramsy) McCune. She married Dennis Maddox in Kennett Square, August 23, 1969. In 1971, She graduated from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Marty and Dennis owned and operated Elegance eT Cetera, boasting many regular customers who appreciated their fine jewelry. Surviving are her husband, Dennis of Grand Blanc; 2 sons, Daniel Lee Maddox of Davison, David Selwyn and wife, Shannon Maddox of Montrose, 2 grandchildren, Garrett and Alison Maddox; 2 brothers, William (Renee)McCune of Pleasant Ridge, MI, Morgan (Luz) McCune of Oceanside, CA., mother and father-in-law, Charles and Donna Maddox, of Commerce Township, brother and sister-in-laws, Michael (Anna)Maddox, of Grand Rapids, James (Michelle) Maddox, of Farmington, Deborah (Richard) Yarling, of Kalamazoo, and numerous nieces and nephews.
