Martha Hurley

HURLEY, Martha Ellen (Stallings) - Age 69, of Flint, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020. Private burial will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.

Martha was born on September 11, 1951 in Parma, MO, the daughter of Levy and Hattie (Putney) Stallings. She worked for twenty plus years at the Bears Party Store in Flushing. Martha was a loving mother and nana. In her free time she enjoyed reading books, playing cards and BINGO, and being outside in the sun.

She is survived by her 3 children, Tammy (Daniel) Polzin, Jerry Hurley and Tiffany (Elmer) Hurley; 4 grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Christopher, Nicholas and Austin; 9 siblings, Margaret Shawn, Cathie (Gordon) Green, Laverne Reese, Kim (Bob) Emery, Trish (Jeff) Hoehne, Jane Gray-Wakeman, Kenny (Rita) Stallings, James (Linda) Stallings and Doug (Louise) Stallings; and many nieces and nephews.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Levy and Hattie Stallings; and the love of her life, Leonard Ortiz. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
