Martha Faye BREWER

BREWER, Martha Faye - age 78, of Flint, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 at Avalon Hospice. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Faith Tabernacle, 1225 S. Center Rd., Burton, with a celebration of life luncheon immediately following at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the charity of one's choice, in memory of Martha Brewer. Martha was born in Paragould, Arkansas on April 21, 1934 to John and Lessie (Davis) Henley. She married James E. Brewer on September 15, 1951. Martha had resided in Flint since 1954. She is survived by her three children; son, Gary Brewer of Flint; daughter, Annette Brewer of Swartz Creek; and daughter Wendy (Wayne) Cohoon of Swartz Creek; sister, Johnny (James) Williams of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Avalon Hospice and Joanne Cohoon.
