KILE, Marlowe Earl - age 71, of McMillan, MI, formerly of Flint, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 30, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd, Flint with Pastor Paul Kile officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Marlowe was born July 10, 1935 in Flint, the son of Harold and Julia (Sumner) Kile. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Marlowe retired from General Motors after 33 years of service working at Fisher Body, AC I, AC II, Otterburn and BOP in Southgate, CA. He was also a member of the UAW for 45 years. Marlowe was a member of North Star Baptist Church in McMillan, MI where he was baptized and saved by Pastor Paul Williams. The family will have a memorial service at North Star Baptist Church at a later date. Marlowe also loved fishing. Surviving are: wife, Elaine; two sons, Mark and Charles; three grandchildren, Ashley, Charles, Tom; two great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (Sally) Kile of Beaverton; twin sister, Marlene (Jerry) McCuan of Las Vegas; former wife, Janice Cocke.
