Marlo Thronson

THRONSON, Marlo Boman - Age 83, of Burton, died Wednesday, October 12, 2016 surrounded by family. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Saturday, October 22 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Friday October 21, and 12 - 2 PM on Saturday, October 22. Those desiring may make contributions to Alzheimers Association. Marlo was born October 29, 1932 in Clifford, ND, the son of Oscar and Hulda (Boman) Thronson. He married Sandra Wildmo on February 14, 1954 in Trail, MN. Marlo retired from GM Metal Fab after thirty years of service. He could fix anything and did it well. Marlo enjoyed woodworking and playing music. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Sandra; six children, Cheryl (Larry) Sedlarik of Flint, Lori (Charles) Williams of Grand Blanc, Debra (Craig) Sawatzki of Flushing, Michael Thronson of Burton, Cindy (Dan) Martin of Grand Blanc, Rebecca Thronson of Burton; twenty grandchildren; thirty four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Duwayne (Ella) Thronson of Harrison; sister, Janelle Faldet of Minnesota.
