Marlene Rose HOWE

HOWE, Marlene Rose - age 76, of Flint Township, died Monday, April 25, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Marlene was born May 21, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of Theodore and Sarah (Palmer) Steiner. She was larger than life and to know her was to love her. Marlene worked at Perry Printing for many years and the smell of fresh ink was still one of her favorite scents. She also enjoyed working with the students at Genesee Area Skill Center in Horticulture. She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are: husband of 59 years, William Howe; four children, Denise (Tim) Madigan of Gladwin, William J. Howe of Flint Twp., Gordon L. Howe of Flint Twp., Debbie (Charles) Clark of Edmond, OK; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Clifford Steiner; sister, Norma Madden.
