Marlene Costello

COSTELLO, Marlene Reinhart - age 89, of Linden, died June 27, 2021. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, July 9, 2021 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Friday at the church. Marlene was born August 2, 1931 in Cresco, IA, the daughter of Virgil and Elizabeth (Jan) Reinhart. She married John Joseph Costello on January 15, 1953 and he preceded her in death in April of 1999. Marlene was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Linden Mill Historical Society, Loose Senior Center, the Questers and the Red Hat Society. Surviving are: five children, John (Debra) Costello of Rudyard, MI, Janelda (John) Harris of St. Clair Shores, Matthew Costello (Cathy Miller) of Falmouth, MI, Mari (David) Hempel of Flint, Mark (Brenda) Costello of Palm Bay, FL; nine grandchildren, Jesse (Julie), Katie (Lonnie), Erin (Jonathan), Tory (Sara), Kristen (Brandon), Elizabeth (Adam), Erin (Rico), Michele (Matthew), and Ashley; 11 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Parker, Riley, Hunter, Tristan, Greyson, Nina, Natalya, Natasha, Emma, and Alice; sister, Durelle (Jerry) Cole of Wilmington, OH.
