Mark David Vieau, was born April 22, 1971 to Robert (Bob) and Ruth Ann Vieau at McLaren Hospital, Flint, MI. Mark passed away the evening of December 26, 2021. A Memorial Service will be at 12:00 PM Friday, January 14, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. (A live stream of the service will be available on Mark's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday, January 13 and 11:00 AM until the service time Friday at the funeral home.
He was the youngest of two children. Mark attended Hamady High school where he played football, graduating in 1989. He then attended U of M Flint and Mott Community College where he received his associate degree. Mark worked for McDonalds for 34 years from the age of 16 until the time of his death. He worked his way up the ranks from crew to manager and finally to be the OTP3-Operations Manager. He also assisted with equipment repair throughout the various locations. Mark loved his family, friends, football, and camping. He was an avid cook and loved trying out new recipes. Mark was well loved by all who knew him and he will be missed not only by his family but a multitude of friends.
Mark married Cherie his best friend of many years, on October 14, 2017. They traveled every year; taking vacations up north to visit family in Cheboygan which was important to him as well as trips to Tennessee, Maryland, Disneyworld and California. Mark was a kind and patient husband, loving father to Michael, Mason, Maxx, Dante, Alex, and Zachery. He was a devoted son to Ruth Ann and Bob and doting grandpa to Raava, Raeya, and Orion. Mark leaves to cherish his memory wife, Cherie D. Vieau; Children, Michael, Mason, Maxxwell and their mother Janis Vieau, Alexander Broden, Dante Dobbins, Zachery Brevard all of MI; Grandchildren, Raava, Raeya Dobbins and Orion Broden-Robinson; Parents, Robert and Ruth Ann Vieau; Mother-in-law, Diane Broden; Father-in- law, James (Theresa) Broden; Sister-in-law, Keisha (Alejandro) Contreras; Brothers-in-law, Akeyma (Kourtney) Broden, Adavid (Jossy) Broden, Amnon (Renee) Broden; Aunt Virginia Hull and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including close friends, Jenean, Glen, Janet, Tim, Natalie, Rob, Larry, and Ernie. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Vieau; Grandparents, Edward J. and Marie Vieau, Adelor and Evonne Miller; Uncle Clyle and Aunt Beverley Elliott, Uncle Larry Hull; Cousin, Tim Cronk and Aunt Mac.
