Mark William Soles, born on February 26, 1962, in Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully in his hometown on March 8, 2025, at the age of 63. Mark dedicated many years of his life to a career as a truck driver. Beyond his professional endeavors, he enjoyed reading and watching movies. His love for cinema was further exemplified by his years of work at a local movie theater, where he cultivated an impressive collection of movie posters, showcasing his enthusiasm for film. He is survived by his devoted siblings: Debbie (Jay) Bolin, Denise Harker, Lori (Jim) Groat, Chris (Andy) Kostka, and Russell (Denise) Soles. Mark's family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Care Team Hospice and Kith Haven Nursing Home for the compassionate care provided during his time of need. He is also remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who appreciated his warmth and kindness. Mark was preceded in death by his beloved parents, William and Nancy (Fain) Soles, whose memories will forever remain a part of his legacy. As we remember Mark, we celebrate the life he lived—a life filled with love for family, a passion for storytelling, and a spirit that touched all who knew him. His presence will be missed but cherished in the hearts of those he left behind. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
