MAJOR, Mark J. - age 52, of Fenton, died Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 11 AM Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Linden. The family will receive friends from 4-9 PM Thursday and 2-4 and 6-9 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mark was born August 30, 1954 in Detroit, the son of Joseph and Jean (Kajor) Major. He married Christine Grossman on May 23, 1987, just celebrating their 20th anniversary. He was employed with the Robert Bosch Corporation in Farmington Hills as a Senior Engineer Technician. Mark was an avid sports fan, especially Red Wings Hockey. He enjoyed fishing and Whirly ball in his spare time. Surviving are: loving wife, Christine of Fenton; mother, Jean Major of Fenton; sister, Sandra and husband, Robert O'Connor of Hale, MI; brother-in-law, Charles Grossman and wife, Kristin of Clinton Twp.; God-children, Connor and Courtney Grossman; faithful companion, Honey.
