Mark Kilbourne

KILBOURNE, Mark Steven- Age 58, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Flint, died Saturday, December 10, 2016 peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday December 16, at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place 5-8 PM Thursday and 11 AM until the time of service on Friday. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity that benefits Cancer research. Mark was born in Flint on November 19, 1958. He graduated from Ainsworth High Shcool and eventually moved to Arizona where he picked up many hobbies. He enjoyed watching Jeopardy, buying and selling at flea markets and looking for old records to name a few of his favorites. Arizona is where he met his life partner, Beth Ziegler and they have spent the last 20 years together. He still kept in touch with friends in Michigan and loved to talk about the old days. Always a quiet and shy man, the friends he made between Arizona and Michigan were his forever friends. He had a very kind heart and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Mark is survived by his father, Robert Kilbourne; sisters, Kendra Grady (Matt) and Victoria Halverson; loving companion, Beth Ziegler; special cousins, Jackie and Steve Edgley who have the kindest of all hearts; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
