Mark E. Helsius

Mark E. Helsius, age 58, of Burton, passed away on May 27, 2024. A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flushing, Michigan where Mark will be laid to rest next to his parents. Mark was born on June 9, 1965, in Flint, Michigan to the late Edward & Helen Helsius. He graduated Swartz Creek High School and went on to become a master mechanic; he worked for Munro for many years. Mark was an avid NASCAR and Detroit Red Wings fan. He was a handyman and picked up being a mechanic rather quickly. He had many dogs throughout the years, Piper was his current Pit Bull and he adored her. 

Mark is survived by his two sisters, Elaine Helsius of Lennon and Barbara (Dave) Tagge of Nevada; two nephews, Patrick Dean and Jeremiah Helsius and his niece, Elizabeth Dean. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward (Helen); wife, Carol and siblings, Michelle and Randall.
