Mark E. Waugh 'Gator'

WAUGH, Mark E. 'Gator' -- Age 59, of Swartz Creek, died December 9, 2006 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A Memorial Gathering will be held 6 PM Wednesday at the Linden Sportsmans Club, 14343 Hogan Rd., Linden (1/2 mile West of downtown Linden). In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or the childrens charity of their choice. Mark was born December 4, 1947 in Huntington, WV, the son of Okey and Nellie (Maxey) Waugh. He had resided in the Swartz Creek and Flint area for over 30 years. He retired from GM, V-8 Engine Plant. He was a member of the Linden Sportsmans Club and the N.R.A. Mark loved the outdoors lifestyle and enjoyed teaching the kids at the Sportsmans Club firearm safety and responsibility in the outdoors. Surviving are: son Bryan Waugh of Traverse City; two grandchildren, Danielle and Dakota Waugh; two sisters, Debora Wilkinson-Cole and husband Mike Cole of Huntington, WV, Aimee Ivester; niece Shannon and husband Matt Greene; nephew Chad Wilkinson; great-nephew Jackson Greene.
