REICH, Marjorie M., age 74, of Flint, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2010 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Peace Lutheran Church, 2051 W. Maple Rd., Flint. Pastor Paul Boerger will officiate. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service at church. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. Visitation will be 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Contributions may be made to Lutheran Child and Family Services, 6019 W. Saginaw Rd., P.O. Box 48, Bay City, MI 48707; or Peace Lutheran Church 2051 W. Maple Ave., Flint. Marjorie was born July 20, 1936 in Flint the daughter of the late Walter and Grace Arbutus (Satterley) Riederich. She was employed as a teacher by Fenton Community Schools and later as a writer by Tri-County Times, the Fenton Independent and at Michigan State University Co-operative Extension until her retirement. Marjorie was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and also assisted her husband in ministering to others. She was a secretary, certified church planter and several other roles within the faith. Surviving are her husband, Rev. Arthur Reich; sons, Jack (Lisa) Riegle, Keith (Julie) Riegle, Larry (Ann) Riegle, Michael (Melissa) Riegle; daughter, Jill ("Bud") Clark; step-children, Mark Reich, James Reich, Susan Reich, Arthur (Wendy) Reich III; 19 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Walter (Vada) Riederich, Larry Riederich; sisters-in-law, Norma Hunt, Marcia (David) Ray, Ruth Rucinski; brother-in-law Carl Reich; 2 aunts and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
