Marjorie O'Dell

O'DELL, Marjorie Rose - age 74, of Holly, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 20, 2021  at her residence with her family and dog, Baby by her side.  Services will be held Wednesday, October 27th, 4 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.  Visitation will be held 3 PM until the time of service.

Marjorie was born January 2, 1947 in Flint, the daughter of Allen and Susan (Peterson) Nye.  She worked in Health Care her entire career, starting out as a Registered Nurse while raising three young children. She went on to graduate from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor as a Nurse Practitioner.  She truly revolutionized care in many of the health care facilities she worked at throughout her career. Marge was dedicated to raising the standards for her employees that included nurses, nurse aides and other health care professionals.  She poured her compassion and dedication into facilities that were in need of her skills, ultimately bringing them to a higher level of care.  She eventually found herself earning another high level degree in healthcare with a Master's of Business Administration.  The respect she earned and gave was truly a gift for those who were lucky enough to work side by side with her.  She was loved by so many and will be missed dearly.

Surviving are: her three children, Dale Wilbur of Saginaw, Dennis Wilbur of Holly, and Natalie (Keith) Foguth of Fenton; five grandchildren, Solomon (Arron), Samuel, Cali, Jackson, and Grace; 4 great-grandchildren, Rohan, Cash, Knox, and Riot.
