HINES, Marjorie Lucille "Margie" -- Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died December 26, 2012 at the Pines of Swartz Creek. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Friday, December 28 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday; and 12 Noon until the time of the funeral Friday. Those desiring may make contributions to Home and Hospice Advantage. Marjorie was born June 12, 1923 in Flint the daughter of Jay Palmer and Myrtle (Shaw) Palmer. She was married to Robert Hines and he preceded her in death in 1977. She was a graduate of Mary Crapo High School and was a member of the Swartz Creek VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a good Mom. She enjoyed cooking and fishing. Surviving are: son James and wife MaryAnn Hines; four grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister Eleanor; and brother Richard.
