Marion Charline McAllister

Marion McAllister, age 90, a longtime resident of St. Clair Shores and Romeo, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. She was born on September 18, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, to Martha and Robert Van Hulle.

Marion is survived by her husband of 69 years, Donald McAllister, and her sister Charline Dobbie. She is also mourned by her loving children: Vicki Silverthorn, Gordon (Paula) McAllister, Kirk (Holly) McAllister, and Kari (Alexander) Reid. Additionally, she leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Ryan (Whitney) McAllister, Kyle McAllister, Adam Silverthorn, Alexandria (Brett) Giles, Hayley McAllister, Shannon (Tyler) Prybylla, Matthew Silverthorn, Katelin McAllister, Andrew Reid, Elizabeth Silverthorn, and Erin Silverthorn.

A private family funeral will take place on January 10, 2025. A memorial service for extended family and friends will be scheduled for a later date, expected to be in the spring of 2025.
