Marion Macdonald

MacDonald, Marion E. (Suci) , age 81, of Grand Blanc, formerly of North Port, FL died Friday, January 18, 2019 in Grand Blanc. Marion was born in Flint, MI on December 3, 1937, the daughter of Thomas and Martha Suci. She graduated from Grand Blanc High School. Marion married Dwight MacDonald and he preceded her in death in 2012, after 56 years of marriage. Marion loved living in Florida and was happy when her family visited. She really loved her grandchildren. Marion loved the casino, was a great cook, could sew anything, and she loved to knit. Every year, for more than 13 years, she knitted over 100 scarves for the North End Soup Kitchen in Flint. Marion is survived by her children, Judith (Wayne) Custer, William MacDonald, James MacDonald, Dwight (Kathy) MacDonald; 15 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Marion was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at the Benzonia Cemetery in Benzonia, MI on July 13, 2019 at 12:00 noon.
