Marion Leece

LEECE, Marion Edythe- Age 95 , of Fenton, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Funeral services will be held 3PM Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Visitation will be held 1PM until time of service at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Food Bank of Flint or the Salvation Army. Marion was born March 4, 1922 in Flint, the daughter of the late Walter and Genevieve (Williams) Lawson. She married Edward Leece in New York on September 22, 1939 and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2004. Marion enjoyed golfing, gardening, bridge, knitting, bowling and belonged to the gardening club. Surviving are: children, Jerald (Kim) Leece of Holly, Joanne (Thomas) Kundinger of Neeah, WI, Jeffrey (Debbie) Leece of Fenton, and John (Claudia) Leece of Fenton; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Marnie (Pete) Hartley of Fenton. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Jim; and grandson, John. The family would like to thank Sharon at Young at Heart and her staff for the incredible care they took of Marion.
