Marilyn Zerka

ZERKA, Marilyn Lenore - Age 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021. She chose to spend her last days in her home of 56 years, surrounded by her family and friends. She was lovingly cared for by her husband, children and grandchildren. Marilyn is survived by her husband of 59 years, Mike Zerka of Flint; children, Dana (Ted) Noack of Stillwater, MN, Michael (Pam) Zerka of Linden, Leslie (Jason) Horton of Battleboro, NC; She was the grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of three. She is also survived by her brother, Jeff (Julie) Brenner of Bradenton, FL; sister, Laurie Royse of Charlottesville, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Brenner of Flint and her brother, Ronald Brenner of Sarasota, FL.

She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, Nana, Great-Nana, friend and animal lover. She will be remembered at a Celebration of Life which will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Marilyn's request would be that donations be sent to Genesee County Humane Society (geneseehumane.org)
