KNOWLES, Marilyn Sue, age 70, of Burton, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Monday, August 27, 2012 at Outreach Baptist Church, 4271 Crosby Rd., Flint. Pastor Jim Reid officiating. The family will receive friends 12:00PM Monday until time of service at the church. Visitation will be Sunday 12-8PM at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Marilyn was born October 13, 1941 in Flint the daughter of the late Sumner and Luella (Husted) Perry. She was employed for many years by Kroger where she worked in the deli department. Marilyn enjoyed puzzles, loved cats and took time to visit her neighbors. She also enjoyed attending church services at the apartment complex. Surviving are her 4 children, Ken Potter (Teresa), Michelle Limon (Henry), Jeff Potter (Laurie) all of Flint, Tim Potter (Tina) of Florida; 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Aaron, Angela (Tony), Esteven (Stephanie), Amy (Josh), Miguel (Brandy), Christina(Eric), Brandyi, Jeremy, Kellie (Brannon), Alan (Angel); 16 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Anita Fletcher and Karen Needham.
