Brumback, Marilyn - Age 86, of  Fenton, died January 31, 2022. Services will be held 2 PM Friday June 24 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.  Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to a Veterans Organization of choice.  Marilyn was born August 5, 1935 in Flint the daughter of Eldor B. Draws and Hilda (Reava) Gault. She graduated from Flint Northern High School in 1953. From there she joined the U.S. Navy Medical Corp during Korea. She received an honorable discharge. She then attended Stratford College where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. She then attended the University of Colorado School of Nursing in Denver, Colorado. She married Francis George Jr. with whom she had three children Janine, Amy and Christopher. She then married James Brumback in 1973. She was employed by Hurley Medical Center for many years. After leaving Hurley she worked for several doctors office including Dr. Bonbrisco. After retiring from the Medical Field she went back to school for floral design. She was employed by Yard and Garden and then VG's as a floral designer. She was a member of the Fenton Questers and served on the Fenton Beautification Commission for three terms.    Surviving are: her three children Janine Matheson, Amy Abbey, Christopher (Robin) George; grandchildren, Jason (Tara), Justin, Tony, Trevor (Sarah), Tyler, Noel, , Matthew, Staci (Brian); great-grandchildren, Spencer, Jace, Jazlyn, Easton, Memphis, Cason and Aspen; sister Kathryn (Robert) Wind; brothers, Les Draws and Al Draws; step-children, Mark, Brad, and Laura Brumback; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Eldor Draws; mother Hilda Gault; step-father Harry Gault; and husband James Brumback. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
