BAKEMAN, Marilyn Ann - age 69, of Flint, died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at University Hospitals. Services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Interment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Diabetes Association. Marilyn was born October 7, 1942 in Grand Blanc, the daughter of Jasper and Mabel (Erler) Parsell. She was very active in the Community of Christ and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was known as the "butterfly lady". Surviving are: husband, Lester Bakeman of Flint; son, Lewis (Kimberley) Bostwick of TN; step-son, Donald (Julie) Bakeman of Davison; grandchildren, Melinda Wright, Jacob Bakeman, Samantha, Cale, and Logan Mabbitt; siblings, Alvin (Sharon) Parsell of Gladwin, Dorothy (Gordon) Mundy of Swartz Creek, Robert (Marsolie) Parsell of Swartz Creek; many nieces, nephews and "lots of kids".
