MILLS, Marie Celia- Age 85, of Flint, died Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Hurley Medical Center.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, February 29, 2008 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 E. 5th St., Flint.  Fr. Philip Gallagher celebrant.  Burial immediately following at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint, Wednesday from 6-9 PM, Thursday from 1-9 PM and Friday at the church from 10 AM until time of Mass.  A vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Heartbeat of Greater Flint, 320 E. 4th Street, Flint, MI 48502 or St. Michael Altar Society.  Marie was born July 9, 1922 in Flint, the daughter of Jay S. and Mary (Jelenski) Mills.  She had resided in Flint her entire life.  She had been employed by CIT Financial Services and GMAC.  She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Michael Altar Society. She was also a member of Heartbeat of Greater Flint, Credit Women's Club of Flint, St. Michael's Senior Citizens, Flushing Senior Citizens. Marie was also one of the original 6 Big Sisters in Flint,  a member of GM Business Girls and a volunteer at Hurley Medical Center.  Surviving are: sister, Dorothy Todd of Flint; very special nephew, Kenneth Todd of Flint; many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Margaret Gailey and Ruth Amundson; 3 brothers, Richard, Leon and Francis Mills.  Online condolences and tributes may be posted at the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
