Marie Elise KRAUS

KRAUS, Marie Elise - Age 92, of Mt. Morris, died June 16, 2012. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Marie was born March 9, 1920 in Saginaw, the daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Munger) Knight. She was married to Gerald Kraus on August 14, 1955 in Flint; he preceded her in death on January 20, 2007. Mrs. Kraus owned and operated Pick-Durant Valet Shop and Fifth Avenue Cleaners until her retirement in 1973. Surviving are: daughter, Janice Maxheimer; grandchildren, Sherri (Mike) Mahorney, Aleace Wright, Kimberly (Jeff) Young, Dawn (Brian) Havens, Paula (Ron) Taylor; six great-grandchildren: 2 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Geral Knight. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Maplewoods Manor and Hartland Hospice for the love and devotion.
