Marie Ann KEEL

KEEL, Marie Ann - Age 69, of Burton, went home to the Lord on Wednesday, March 2, 2011. A memorial gathering will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 5, 2011 at The Pointe Church, 9430 Perry Road, Goodrich. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice. Marie was born August 31, 1941 in Flint to her loving parents, Carl and Stella (Vock) Johnson. She married Jimmie Keel November 14, 1967 in Flint. She enjoyed walking and watching her grandchildren's sporting events; Marie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She is survived by: husband, Jimmie Keel; son, Scott and wife Patty Richardson; daughter, Justine and husband Scott Amy; grandchildren, Kyle Richardson and fiancee Jackie Thorpe, Owen Richardson, Paige Amy and fiance Scott Newman, McKenzy Amy; great granddaughter, Averie Ann Marie; mother, Stella Johnson; brother, Carl Johnson, Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Johnson, Sr. and sister, Winnie Liley. The family would like to thank all the staff at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich and a special thanks to Pamela "Jeanne" Wurst.
