Marie E. Brand

BRAND, Marie E., age 80, a resident of Flint died Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Brians House Hospice  Mrs. Brand was born in Flint on February 3, 1925 the daughter of Adolph and Iva (Metzger) Groleau, and was a lifelong resident of Flint. She and Sheldon D. Brand were married February 8, 1945 in Flint and he preceded her in death on May 9, 1978. She was a homemaker, but most of all was a loving mother and grandmother.  Surviving is a daughter, Shelley Price and  Bill of Davison, 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son Timothy Michael Brand, a daughter, Sharon Marie Cook  brothers Dona Groleau and John Groleau, a a special lifelong friend, Florence Mull. Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Rev. R. Thomas Wachterhauser will officiate.  Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6:00 P.M.  to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
