Marian Ormsby

ORMSBY, Marian Therese (Belobradich) - Age 82, of Fenton, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021.  Funeral services will be held 5:00 PM Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton.  Fr. David Harvey officiating.  Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 PM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Marian was born August 4, 1939 in Laurium, the daughter of Thomas Andrew and Lydia Elizabeth (Veres) Belobradich.  She married Peter Francis Ormsby April 19, 1958 in Calumet and he preceded her in death July 2, 2021.  She had resided in Fenton since 1972 coming from Mohawk. After Peter retired they would spend the summers in the Keweenaw Peninsula.  She was an original member of the Sweet Adelines.  Marian enjoyed painting, music, dancing, reading  cook books, cooking, going to casino's, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton.

Surviving are: her children, Steven (Gina) Ormsby of Linden, Lynn Ormsby of Fenton, Dave (Inger) Ormsby of Linden, Bruce (Sonia) Ormsby of Atoka, TN, Karen Ormsby of Fenton, Julie (Mike) Lazzara of South Lyon, and Christopher (Stephanie) Ormsby of Gaines; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and nephews.
