Marian A. HUDGINS

HUDGINS, Marian A. - Age 75, of Flint, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. She was born in Dothan, Alabama on February 14, 1934. She lived in Grand Blanc for 36 years and moved to Flint in 1996. Marian had been employed by General Motors for 25 years, retiring in 1980. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Burton Eagles and an active member of the U.A.W. Local 659. Surviving are 3 children, Deborah A. Veselsky and husband Ed of Grayling, James H. Hudgins and wife Deborah Marie of Grand Blanc and Randy L. Hudgins and wife Robin of Burton. Also surviving are grandchildren, Amie (Bill), Bill (Molly), Shawn (David) and Riley; and eight great-grandchildren. Marian was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first great-great-grandchild in October. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Bonny and Mabel Napier, a sister and 2 brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Pastor Donald O'Dell will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation with the family at the funeral home will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
