Mariam Arlene SHERMAN

SHERMAN, Mariam Arlene - Age 78, of Linden, died Thursday, October 14, 2010 at her residence. An Eastern Star Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 18, 2010 with funeral services beginning at 3:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 PM Saturday and Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mariam was born June 23, 1932 in Owosso. She was married to Orville Sherman on February 24, 1962 in Durand; he preceded her in death on September 3, 2009. Mrs. Sherman was a member of Linden Presbyterian Church and Linden O.E.S. Chapter #175. Surviving are: daughter, Diane Paine of Lynn Haven, FL; son, Ted Benson of Europa, MS; step-son, Larry (Suzanne) Sherman of Grand Blanc; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna Davis, Joyce Semple and Jeanette Jenkins; brothers, Roland Grow, Carl Case, Gordon Case and Stanley Case.
