RHYNE, Marguerite A., age 94, of Grand Blanc, MI and formerly of Flint and Hubbard Lake, MI, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2022 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc due to complications of Covid-19. She was born in Flint on July 25, 1927 to Joseph and Pauline (Ciminski) Ginter. Marguerite graduated from St. Matthew's High School in Flint. She married the love of her life, William J. Rhyne, Sr. in 1946 in Flint. She was a homemaker raising 4 children and later worked at the Flint Area Chamber of Commerce for 20 years when she retired in 1989. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J Rhyne, Sr., her son, William J. Rhyne, Jr., her daughter, Patricia (Rhyne) Kostka, and her brother Henry Ginter. Surviving are her two children, Joseph Rhyne of Hubbard Lake; and Timothy (Sandra) Rhyne of Swartz Creek, and 6 grandchildren, William J. Rhyne III of Swartz Creek; Monica (Edward) Klimek of Goodrich; David (Kristina) Kostka of Brighton; Harrison (Ashley) Kostka of Holly; Kathleen (Trevor) Rodgers of Burton; and Timothy Rhyne, Jr. of Grand Rapids; 9 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Virginia Rhyne of Brighton, and several nieces and nephews. Marguerite was actively involved in her church and community and served as a member of the St. Pius X Altar Society, a volunteer at the Alpena Regional Medical Center, the Hubbard Lake Community Association, Hubbard Lake Sportsmans, and a member of the Hubbard Lake Red Hat Club for several years. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid reader and frequently visited the Hubbard Lake Library. She loved being with her family at any family gathering, and was excited every time a grandchild came to visit. Marguerite resided at Hubbard Lake for 47 years and has lived at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc for the last three years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3139 Hogarth Avenue, Flint with Rev. Fr. Anthony Strouse celebrant. Visitation will be held 9:00 AM Monday until the time of Mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Hubbard Lake Library Building Fund (make checks payable to Community Foundation of Northeast Michigan) and mail to the Hubbard Lake Community Association, P.O.
