Marguerita Goggins

GOGGINS, Marguerita  -- Age 87, of Flushing, died December 13, 2021. Private Funeral Mass will be held. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make contributions  to Genesee County Humane Society.

Marguerita was born December 14, 1933 in Tien-Tsin, China the daughter of  John George Michel and Vera (Shiponova) Michel.  She was a lover of music, having attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she studied voice and piano. She had a passion for animals, and was especially proud of her family.

A woman who was strong in her faith, she is survived by her 7 children, David (Patricia) Goggins of Flushing, Michael ( Mariella) Goggins of Miami, FL, Patrick (Minerva) Goggins of Lansing, Daniel (Sophia) Goggins of Orange, CA, Renee (Donald) Barkley of Irvine, CA, Brian Goggins of Santa Ana, CA, Brenda ( Matthew) Kierscht of Santa Clarita, CA; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.  Tributes may be shared at
