Margot Green

Margot Agnes Green of Clio, MI, age 87, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on July 22, 2022. Margo was born March 5, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio as the only child of Joseph and Paula Lischewsky. She married Lowell William (Bill) Green on November 23, 1957 who preceded her in death in 2016. In life she devoted herself to her husband Bill and children, Roberta (Drew) Edwards, Jaclyn Green (Steve Petrovich), Christopher Green and Julie Atwell (Mike Baker). Along with her grandchildren Bill Peabody, Christy Wood, Joe and Carly Petrovich and 4 great-grandchildren Kaylin and Gabe Peabody, Matty Petrovich and Jack Lamb. As part of Margo’s always giving nature, she would knit prayer shawls for the sick and elderly through her church. She also assisted her daughter Robin, in sewing and donating emergency facemasks for Frontline workers during the Covid crisis. Along with all the fond memories that she leaves behind, Margo will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
