Margie Weir

Weir, Margie Mae - Age 90, of Lakeland, Florida, formerly of Fenton, died July 30, 2022. Services will be held  7 PM Tuesday August 23 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad Street, Linden.  Visitation will be held  5 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday August 23. Private Interment, along with her husband, Jack, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.

Margie was born May 12, 1932 in Linden, Michigan, the daughter of Lowell Corey and Luella (Combs) Corey. She was a graduate of Hartland High School and Baker Business College. She married the love of her life, Jack A. Weir, on August 9, 1958 in Fenton. She had worked as the Manager of Caravan Imports for 15 years, retiring in 1992. Margie and Jack resided in Largo, Florida, since 2002. Margie moved to Lakeland in April of 2022. She was a member of the Linden Presbyterian Church, along with the Red Hat Society. Margie was a devoted wife, loving mother and Nana. She enjoyed many crafts and loved playing cards with family and friends. Most of all, Margie loved her family and they held a special place in her heart.

Surviving are her children, Diane (Douglas) Artt, Randall Weir, Rodrick (Suzanne) Weir, Janeen (Mark) Nuttle; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister-in-law, Annie Corey. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jack Weir; her parents; Lowell and Luella Corey; two brothers, Duane and Gerald Corey; and daughter-in-law, Sherri Weir.
