Margery Harris

HARRIS, Margery Lou - 87, of Linden, died Thursday, February 1, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contribution to the Loose Senior Center, 707 N. Bridge St, Linden, MI 48451. Margery was born February 26, 1930 in Lansing, the daughter of Walter and Lillian (Wolcott) Nobach. She was a 1948 graduate of J.W. Sexton High School in Lansing. She married James L. Harris March 7, 1953 and he preceded her in death May 29, 2005. She retired in 2000 from Blue Care Network after 22 years of service; she also had worked at Lansing General Hospital. Margery was a volunteer at the Loose Senior Center in Linden. She enjoyed crocheting and cross stitching. Surviving are: 3 sons, Douglas (Lori) Harris of Fenton, David Harris of North Carolina, and Daniel (Kami) Harris of Fenton; grandchildren, Kimberly (Jimmy) Evans, Kari (Jason) Elg, Ashley Harris, Ric Harris, and Shannon Harris; great grandchildren, Hunter, Brody, Brooke, Adam, Stafford, Margaret, and Ramsey; sister, June Patmore Stanton; sister-in-law, Barbara Nobach of Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews.
