MATA, Margarita -- Age 90, of Flint, died July 31, 2006 at Brians House Hospice in Davison. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe, G-2316 W. Coldwater Rd., Flint, Fr. Timothy Nelson celebrant with Fr. Eduardo Lorenzo con-celebrating. Family and friends will gather at the church after 10 AM Thursday. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held 6-9 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. A rosary will be prayed 7 PM Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Brians House Hospice, Davison. Margarita was born February 27, 1916 in Mexico the daughter of Pedro and Maria (Luna) Mata. She had resided in Flint most of her life coming from Laredo, TX. She enjoyed embroidery, sewing, gardening, and especially her many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Surviving are: sister Ramona Juarez; brother, Pedro Benito 'Benny' Mata; sister, Maria Baker, all of Flint; many special nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; special friend, J.B.
